Hamdan Goumaa graduated from the Khartoum University, Sudan, with a Bachelor degree in economics and political science, and earned an MA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.
Hamdan is a mid-career professional with more than 16 years of experience in the field of development management. He has worked for both international NGOs and the United Nations (UN) in Africa and South East Asia, where he worked primarily with programs designed to address the stabilization and integration needs of the refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and demobilized fighters.
International Rural Development and Sustainable Micro-finance Specialist
Elhadi is International Rural Development and Sustainable Micro-finance Specialist, with a career spanning 20 years, Mr. Elhadi Abdalla Mohamed is an expert in progressive management in development and complex humanitarian contexts in East Africa, North Africa, South and Southeast Asia, as well as in the Middle East. Elhadi studied his MSc in International Development at the University of Rome.
He has a deep knowledge and experience in program oversight, smart partnership building, networking, and strategic thinking supported by extensive exposure to refugees, IDPs and disadvantaged groups programming in addition to his long career in international development.
Elhadi served for several years as the International Director – MENA for SOS Children’s Villages International. Prior to this, he had extensive experience leading international organizations working on emergency interventions as well as long-term development programs in conflict zones and disaster areas such as Darfur and Juba in Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the conflict-stricken regions of Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Philippines.
Active contributor to the development of democratic Sudanese cultural life within their diaspora through diverse means.
Adil Algassas is a renowned Sudanese intellectual and peace activist. Adil graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Victoria University – Australia – 2009. He completed and obtained his PhD in Postcolonial Studies from the same University. His academic project focuses on the impact of diaspora on how Sudanese immigrants to Australia negotiate their identities.
Active contributor to the development of democratic Sudanese cultural life within their diaspora through diverse means such as blogs and forums writing as well as cultural events planning.
Adil is also known as one of the prominent Sudanese short story writers.
Professional Finance, Administration and Human Resources Manager
Dil Mohmmed is a professional Finance, Administration and Human Resources Manager who served for over 12 years in these capacities with UNHCR in Myanmar. He also served in different relevant development finance capacities with GROUPE DE RECHERCHE ET D’ECHANGES TECHNOLOGIQUES (GRET), UNDP and UNOPs.

Mental and psycho-social Support in emergencies
Accomplished, multifaceted medical doctor with Master’s Degree in Medicine (orientation: Public Health) and specialization in Psychiatry. 30 years of working experience as a medical doctor and community health educator in the Balkans, Western Europe, South Asia, Middle East and the Caribbean.
Ten years of experience in International Health. Educated in both developing and developed countries (Yugoslavia, Croatia, Austria, USA and Canada). Fluent in English and German language. Working knowledge of French and Russian. Areas of expertise include: primary health care with the emphasis on community-based health care and community mental health care. Broad knowledge of various public health issues (including communicable and chronic diseases) and functioning of public health system and social services system.
Major goal is to alleviate human suffering where most needed.

With directors having more than 40 years combined experience in rural development, international negotiation, conflict resolution and peace activism. Towards the end of 2013, the idea of CIPAD evolved in the form of a US registered International non-governmental organization with focus on advocacy, research, relief and development issues.
